Summary
Early in the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Hwang In-ho, granted a rare leave from the front, crosses paths with Crèche Master Seong Gi-hun. What begins as a quiet, fragile connection deepens into a love that neither can release, an attachment forbidden by the Jedi Order.
As the war fractures the galaxy and the Jedi are stretched thin, devotion gives way to fear, and love curdles into a consuming, jealous possession. Haunted by visions of loss and driven by the terror of abandonment, In-ho turns not to the Order but to the steady counsel of Supreme Chancellor Oh Il-nam, whose guidance promises certainty in a time of chaos.
With the galaxy burning and the lines between duty and desire blurring, the fate of two forbidden lovers becomes entwined with the fate of the Republic itself.

Summary
He’s soaked in rain, there’s a hole in the sleeve of his top, and rainwater forms puddles around his worn shoes. The subway station is empty, save for a few stragglers heading home from work, and a group of drunken university students. None of them pay In-ho any attention.
He stares at the tile floor, lost in thought until a pair of shiny black oxfords appear in his peripheral vision.
A man, in a tailored black suit. He has no umbrella, but he’s seemingly untouched by the pouring rain outside. His black hair is streaked with gray, and when he smiles at In-ho, he notices a shining gold tooth. The man reaches for his briefcase, and In-ho eyes him warily.

How many mysteries does this world hide from us? Can even an ordinary, seemingly boring day bring plot twists?
Why is each of them strange?
Because if they were normal, this story would never have come to be.
Why is everyone hiding something? Why is there a thin line between love and hate between almost everyone?
Or maybe they are actually normal, and it's this world that is strange?
