Summary
"What I am asking is for something that has never occurred within this Kingdom before, however, I feel strongly on the matter."
"What matter do you speak of, Your Majesty?"
"A divorce." Regis said plainly, staring at the golden doors at the other end of the room, the only way out. "To further clarify… my wish is to divorce the Queen."
And just like that, Aulea's entire world collapsed around her.

Summary
The Queen Is Dead.
She died peacefully in her sleep, the papers said.
She died with the King holding her hand, the news reporters said.
She died leaving behind a grieving husband and son, the world said.
What the world failed to mention was that it was all Regis Lucis Caelum’s fault that his precious Aulea had died.
And he’d never forgive himself. Never.

Until the very end."

"I hope you can forgive me, Noct.
From the place where I'm from."

With each step I'll go

Summary
Since he was determined to end this war before Noctis became king, Regis knew that this pain was only going to get worse. So much worse. If he struggled with having sex or walking now what was he going to be like in 10 years time?
He wept harder upon that realisation and crawled into Clarus’ chest as much as he could.
“I want the pain to stop.” Regis cried harder. “I want one day where I don’t hurt!”
“I know, Reggie.” Clarus whispered back, running his hand down his king’s back, hating to see the man he loved suffer this way. “I know words won’t help but I am here for you and I love you dearly.”

Summary
“Belief does not change the truth, dear king,” She countered. “And if you would not believe me, then believe your crystal. Do you think it would have brought me if I did not have the power to answer your prayers? To save your son from his fate?”
“Noctis’s destiny is preordained by the gods.” He said, though it was unclear if the words were for her benefit or his. “No mere mortal can defy their will.”
Something flashed in her eyes, something equally fascinating and terrifying that made lightning strike down his spine. This time when she smiled, Regis knew it was genuine. “Then it is a good thing I am no mere mortal.”
Regis unknowingly asked the Crystal for a way to prevent the Prophecy. In response, it sent the Warrior of Light from Eorzea.

Summary
Dettlaff shouts, “You shouldn’t have meddled, witcher! You never should’ve meddled!” and lunges.
Every one of Geralt’s muscles coil tight, preparing to defend against whatever Dettlaff levels at them, and yet his mind wanders to what Regis will have to go through. He’ll have to fight Dettlaff with Geralt, or Geralt will have to fight him, and neither option sits well with Geralt. In the quickly passing moments he has to consider his options, he remembers something that Syanna mentioned to him in The Land Of a Thousand Fables.
He jumps back so that Dettlaff’s first two blindingly fast swipes miss. “Alpha!” His voice comes out as a yelp in his battle-induced panic. Around him, both of the vampires falter at what he’s said. Regis freezes at his side. Dettlaff’s arms drop a fraction and he gives Geralt a very odd look indeed. Geralt can’t make it out. “Don’t do this,” he adds in the lull.
Dettlaff jolts forward so rapidly that even the witcher’s enhanced eyes have troubles seeing him. Dettlaff’s palms land hard against the front of Geralt’s shoulders and slam him into the crumbling stone wall of Tesham Mutna.
or, Geralt gets a lesson in vampire biology.

Summary
Something was not right with Regis.
Everyone knew there was, but the King simply refused to acknowledge it. He was becoming tired very easily, he was growing sluggish and sometimes his words would start to slur. And his limp… he could barely walk a few steps without being in visible pain and having to stop to catch his breath now.
It was in one word: heartbreaking. No one wanted to see one of the kindest men that had ever graced Eos suffering.

Summary
It was just a history assignment. A boring school 7th grade history assignment. It should mean nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Other than the fact Prompto has claimed that his dad, Ardyn Lucis Caelum, should have been the Founder King over his uncle, Somnus Lucis Caelum.
But that's not enough to cause mass panic surely? It's just a history assignment after all right?
