“Daryl, look, we should talk.”
"Can it wait? 'm in the middle of somethin'." Daryl addresses him, not at all taking notice of Rick or even glancing at his direction (too much walker brains got on and, in his crossbow). "What's it about anyway?" He says, finding a stopping point to look at Rick, though he would have preferred for him to get out of that stupid outfit the townspeople have him wearing (definately not Rick’s color). "Oh... so yer a cop again?" He shook his head as he went back to his crossbow.
Rick rolled his eyes when the other blatantly brushed him off, daring to take a step forward to put his hand on the crossbow; an attempt to gain Daryl’s attention. “Constable,” he corrected before letting out a worn-out sigh.
“Daryl, we need to talk about the lack of effort you’ve decided to put towards this place,” he voiced, putting on a stern tone. “You ain’t even tried to give this place a chance, and I know, I know, I was skeptical at first too, but this is our chance at a somewhat normal life.” He explained, looking at him.
