“Surprise!” you hefted the box again to make sure you wouldn’t drop it as Drew stammered. Before he could come up with something to say, he practically whisked the box out of your hands, beckoning you in with a tilt of his head.
“Come in, please! I cannot believe how exhausted you must be after carrying this up here!” There was a tone of surprise and astonishment as he spoke, his eyes still lingering on the box as he set it down on his desk, pushing aside a few other gift bags to place it. “My goodness.”

Summary
This is the world of Dislyte. Structures harnessing divine waves permeate the earth, floating worlds with their own wonders and perils.
With these Miracles came Espers, ordinary people of everyday life turning into beings of incredible power from the mythological stories of old. And from these Espers came either heroes or villains, their new divine powers acting as weapons for their purposes.
From their conflict came 2 main factions: the Esper Union, and the Shadow Decree.
While they have their differences, their main point of interest is the origins of divinity itself, the Miracles. Research on these structures that appeared one day is ongoing, but it's clear their reason for being are still shrouded in mystery.
That was, until, an unsuspecting newly-born Esper came to be.
