When Izuku was four, he learned three truths of life.
First, power takes many forms outside of quirks. His was a power his mother and her ancestors possessed, dating centuries before quirks existed. A talent that granted various abilities, including telekinesis, flight, and, according to the stories, potential clairvoyance, among many other supernatural gifts.
Second, evil draws strength from two sources. The movies and tv interviews Izuku watched in his short life showed the outer source: The Body, people using their genetic gifts to inflict harm on others. Someone he’d once thought his best friend showed him the inner source: The Human Heart, wherein obsession and selfish desire lie.
And third, the capacity to challenge even the mightiest of heroes can be present within any who draw too heavily from the second truth’s inner source, putting personal ambition over humanity.
He learned them young, and he intended to remember them well on a journey that pits him against creations born of twisted men and women. Against them, only the truest embodiments of strength, discipline, and focus can hope to survive.

The mad villain declared that they were spreading their love! Whatever that meant.
Embarrassingly quick, the deranged villain defeats the two UA students with their mysterious quirk before escaping. With bruised bodies and egos, the pair are ordered to return to UA... feeling a little odd.
Jiro doesn't understand why her heart is pounding so much now. Her body is hot and bothered, and Kaminari smells really good.
