Summary
Everyone hated Mecha-Man for some reason or another, but Robert could say with confidence that he hated him the most.
----------------------------
Robert’s father had never been a good person. But to be crystal clear, neither was Shroud. Apparently, all it took to forget that fact was five bullets clean through the infamous Mecha-Man.
Shroud was worshipped as a hero, despite everything he did to Los Angeles. He’d even been offered a job at some shitty hero agency, all for turning on the Brigade he’d worked with for years. And he’d had the gall to accept the offer.
Robert was left stranded in the wake of his father’s death. Not even eighteen, forced to confront his family’s legacy before he’d even graduated. He didn’t grieve for his father. You had to know someone to truly mourn them.

Summary
Robert wasn't the type to wear his heart on his sleeve. He was more of the lock your heart away in a steel box and dump it in the ocean type of guy. Which is exactly why he's so upset that his tail won't stop wagging Everytime Flambae talks to him.
Or: Robert gets temporarily cursed with dog traits on his way to work and is trying desperately to hide his feelings for a certain hothead.

Summary
So people like me? The average Joe whose granddad wasn’t exposed to experimental radiation or fell into a toxic river, or was born under the star or Orias or something? We’re the soap bubbles. The thin paper people who still get torn, punctured, burned, and broken when not handled with care.
It sucks. But that’s also true of life. So it's not a huge deal.
It just means you have to be smart.
I'm Robert Robertson the Third, and I'm Mecha Man.

Summary
Two children, Robert and Janelle, wake up in an alleyway with little idea how they got there. They decide to band together for the sake of their survival. The Z-team eventually find the two, and now they've got to deal with the younger versions of their teammate and dispatcher after they've been struck by a de-aging superpower. But maybe it's a good thing because now these two child soldiers get to experience the childhood they never had.

Post Canon (Good/everyone is forgiven ending, Coupé was cut and brought back)
Trigger Warning: Violence, blood/injury, child abuse/neglect, mentions of the mob/gangs, -

Summary
A character focused retelling of Adhoc's "Dispatch" centred around the relationship between Invisigal & Robert, as well as the tension between the entire Z team. In this work I will focus a lot on Visi & Robert, though it will include all the Z teamers as much as possible, and of course Royd and Chase. This story will include some word for word canon scenes, as they are extremely central to the narrative, however whenever possible I will use new dialogue that remains consistent with the characters as they are in Dispatch, until the end of episode 8 where I will take their characters in new directions so I'm not just writing one shots. I am a practiced writer, though I have never written fanfiction before and any feedback would be appreciated, though not required.

Summary
A FAN MADE DISPATCH SEQUEL PROJECT: 2 years after Shroud's defeat, Z-Team is LA’s flagship hero squad and a new federal agency—the Department of Powered Humans—has arrived to put capes under a microscope. On paper, SDN Torrance is thriving. In reality, everything’s starting to crack.
It’s been 2 years since the girl Robert fell in love with went too far and vanished. He’s been holding the line ever since—smiling at work, drinking at home, and quietly chasing every whisper of her codename through LA's underworld. But his search for Invisigal has never paid off. Until now.
Meanwhile, Z-Team is evolving whether they like it or not. Robert splits his time between the dispatching chair and the sky: the voice in his team’s ear and, when things get bad enough, Mecha Man himself leading them in the field. Mandy runs SDN without powers, Chase now wears Blazer’s necklace, and former villains like Malevola, Coupé and the rest of Z-Team are trying to make their “hero” titles stick while a charming new DPH liaison starts asking the wrong kinds of questions.
As old ghosts return and new rules close in, Robert and his friends are pushed to redraw the line between hero and villain before someone else draws it for them.

Summary
Supernatural creatures keep trying to lure away Robert because he’s like catnip to them, which is funny until it’s not. What does Malevola have to do to keep others from snatching away their dispatcher?
Or,
Kinda 5 times someone tried to steal Robert, and one time they used that to their advantage (and then still had to prevent someone from taking him home)(Updates every other day)

Summary
“Yo, man, word on the hallways is… you went on a date! That true?!” Flambae’s voice blares through the line, loud, teasing, dramatic as hell. Even over comms, his accent is impossible to ignore.
“You jealous or something? Look, if you wanted to grab dinner all you had to do was ask,” Robert shoots back, dry as always.
“Yeah… hah. You're not my type.” Flambae sounds weirdly uncomfortable, almost embarrassed, and Robert’s eyebrows lift slightly. He’s never heard the man hesitate in his life.
“Girl, that’s the biggest lie I’ve heard!” Prism laughs before he can even respond. “You’re actually saying you’re not into a sad little twink like him?”

Summary
Robert was no stranger to his scent glands being in some sort of pain thanks to how much he used suppressants while he was Mecha Man but now that he wasn’t on them, doctors orders, it was really killing him and that was saying something considering his pain tolerance.

Summary
The red ring was dead but not in a way where it mattered. When a group like that is so large and organized, it’s like cutting off the head of a hydra. More just grow and you have to now learn how to deal with all of the extra heads, but issues lie when not all of those heads are accounted for. Out of sight and out of mind leaves one blind and Robert couldn’t help but notice how blind SDN was.
Fair warning, this fic and any associated with this universe of mine will be dark, like very dark at times and sometimes graphic.
Decisions: cut coupe, hire waterboy, forgive coupe, romance invisigal, spare shroud.Series

Summary

Invisigal's birthday, a month after Shroud's defeat brings forward both joy and painful memories from her distant past, before shroud, before she became a vagabond but unlike before, she now has people she can trust.
TLDR: This fic explores some of Visi's unknown backstory and her blooming relationship with Robert and the Z team.

Malevola and Sonar have been best friends for years. They've seen each other at their worsts and bests, they've supported each other through hardships and celebrated together during their victories. Summary
Waking up with a headache was nothing new to Robert, but he hasn’t grown up to be a fan of it yet. Stretching in his plastic chair and pressing his knuckles against the area between his eyebrows eases the pain, soothing it from a sharp one to a dull, more in the background one, giving Robert a chance to stand up and feel the blood flow try it best to keep him from swaying.
The bathroom lights blind Robert for a brief second when he turns them on, regretting his choice to do so when he is greeted by his reflection in the mirror.
If Robert has issues that go above what he can, or wants to, work through by himself, will they take him down or will someone finally snap him out of it?

Summary
The first Mecha Man to grace L.A. was titled Mecha Man Prime, being the first in the legacy of non-powered humans to make a difference as a hero. The second Mecha Man named himself Astral and made his debut in L.A. as the leader of a group of heroes.
Robert was supposed to be the third Mecha Man. His father would have wanted that for him, but disappointing his father isn't new to him anyway.
In Robert's defense, he had a very valid crash out after his dad was murdered a decade ago. In his morally ambiguous opinion, this leads to his very reasonable agenda of hunting down the man who murdered him. It sucks, because it's a difficult target beloved by the entire damn State.
L.A.'s third Mecha Man, Elliot Connors.
(OR: Robert Robertson is L.A.'s worst supervillain, hunting down the newly retired Mecha Man.)
