In a twisted, neon-soaked version of Los Angeles-where superpowered and ordinary citizens share the same cracked sidewalks-Silverscorn's latest rooftop escape ends with her crashing into a parked car, breathless and furious. Before she can recover, Blonde Blazer lands in front of her-long blonde hair, blue eye mask, sleek blue bodysuit, golden cape collar glinting beneath streetlights, gloves glowing with power.
With one sharp kick, Blazer sends Silverscorn's fallen roller skittering across the pavement, then knocks her scythe out of reach.
"Stop running," Blazer warns. "Join the SDN... again. or go to jail."
Silverscorn curses, torn between pride and survival-unaware that choosing the SDN will eventually pull her into the orbit of a certain newly recruited analyst named Robert Robertson, and toward a future neither of them sees coming.
A story of danger, identity, and slow-burning romance-one spark away from changing everything.

Summary
Each of them had tossed a small box into the middle of the table, each of them looking more and more flustered as they realised what had happened with each new box added to the small pile. It had only been fair that they had expected it would happen in the five years after they had first come together and defeated Shroud and the red ring, but none would have expected anything like this, Royd being the first to break the silence with a soft laugh of “Oh brudah.”
It's been five years since Shroud, five years since they all met Robert Robertson the Third. They all know they want to spend the rest of their lives with him.
Issue comes, they all want to be the first to pop the question to Robert himself, and the Z-team isn't known for playing fair with each other.

“It says here you were charged with second degree murder.”
“Okay, but that wasn’t entirely my fault! He didn’t believe I had the guts to set off the canon with him inside and I… Well, I knew it was gonna kill him. I just didn’t expect a ‘strongman’ to make such a loud splat!”
Blonde Blazer let out a groan of annoyance, pinching the bridge of her nose as she stared at the documentation. Dispatchers wouldn’t be in the office for another hour and yet here she was, discussing why murder is bad to a literal clown.
Bonnie simply smiled at her, sticking out her tongue like a pet who’d just finished destroying everything in the trash can. The button dog ears and thumping tail against the plush seat only added to the look. The oversized button-up and large red frown smeared across her lips juxtaposed exactly how cheery the girl was.
Comedic some would say, but at this moment, it only annoyed Blazer.
Clowns aren’t for everyone.

Summary
A few months before his clash with the Red Ring and Shroud; Mecha Man- (Robert Robertson,) had a close call at the marina with a water-powered Red Ring villain named Torrent. He nearly died because of it, and the past still haunts his every waking moment. Now, entering the fifth month of his absence and announcing his retirement, Robert begins his new life as a dispatcher at SDN. During his time there, he encounters a lanky new hire. Something about him is incredibly off, yet Robert can't help but be drawn to him.
Is he the solution that Robert's been searching for? Or just an illusion of smoke and mirrors? -

Later in the evening following Shroud’s defeat, Robert and Courtney grab tacos for dinner. Then get up to a bunch of other wholesome activities like meeting the Z team for celebratory drinks and fucking. Things get a little domestic. Mecha Man takes his place at the head of the Z team while the last vestiges of the Red Ring accept a dangerous offer for a chance at revenge. Malevola confronts her past.
Post-Canon Epilogue to help cope until s2 formerly titled “embarassing” because it started as a 1shot fluff scene of the same name and morphed into more of my interpretation of the post-canon story.

Following Shroud’s passing, Torrance was no longer glowing red. Robert was also SDN-suspended, but so was his heart towards a certain flamboyant guy. Flambae learns of Robert’s feelings towards him, which, one way or another, led to both of them having a one-night stand. However, amidst their intimacy and infatuations, a new threat also disturbs the peace of Torrance during Robert’s suspension. Fragments of Robert and Flambae’s past lives resurface in succeeding dispatch calls…and Robert has to decide if he needs to cut himself out as a dispatcher of the Phoenix Program, for the sake of Flambae’s future.

Initially, I wrote this with solely romance in mind and not anything else. However, after drafting Chapter 6…I realized that I’m probably on to something. This is a DLC-esque story following the events from Season 1’s Episode 8. New villains, new synergies: that’s where my writing led me. Expounding more on Flambae and Robert’s dynamic, and giving more spotlight to the Z-team and other side characters. -

Summary
The fight with Shroud and the Red Ring was over. The Z-Team had proven themselves as heroes. The team got to enjoy a well-earned day off before helping with the recovery efforts.
But amidst all the celebrations and recovery prep, everyone forgot to check on the dispatcher who had just been tortured by Shroud the night before-- a dispatcher who was too selfless to ask for medical attention. And when his injuries finally catch up to him, it's enough to send the whole team reeling.

The story is a sequel to the games events. It will follow my version of the game I got through my playthrough.
Shroud has been defeated. The great enemy to Robert, the man who took his father from him, has been stopped. With the power to take his life, Robert spared him, leaving him to face the consequence behind bars. He hopes that would be the last of Shroud and his Red Ring army.
With the future uncertain, Robert and the Z-Team now explore what yet is to unfold for them. Discover more about each other and themselves. New threats lurk in the shadows, some that they have yet to meet. Some with a connection to them.
