Like beacons, we seek each other, curling our throbbing bodies together and sighing with relief.

Summary
She knew things were going to go badly when the strange fuzzy giants named her Obito. That name wasn’t a common one, plus she was an absolute Naruto nerd, and she’d just died. Reincarnation, it seemed, was actually a thing. She had a whole list planned out of what she would do if she were somehow reborn as Uchiha Obito.
But those plans were blown out of the water the minute she got the chance to have a good look out of the window.
Because what stared back at her wasn’t Konoha. A modern city with a strange name that doesn’t feel a single thing like the place she used to live, nor the place she’s supposed to be. Obito is stuck in Musutafu, in the setting of an anime she barely knows anything about, with no idea of what to do with her quirks.
Of course, she’d have just happily lived out her life to the best of her ability, thinking it a weird coincidence had Uchiha Madara not been ranked third best on the hero charts.

Brockton Bay, a literal cesspool, made that way due to some well-intentioned but morally bankrupt decisions, all for some grand scheme about whether the world could be shifted in such a way as to be controlled with powerful capes ruling over cities.
Skye didn't really care much for that. In truth, she barely cared about the plot of Worm in general. The world was doomed to end in 2013, big deal. Either it all worked out and Khepri escalates her way into becoming an Endbringer only for Miss Chekov's Hat Herself to 'kill' her, or it failed and Zion destroyed this Earth and all alternate Earths with it, big deal.
So instead, she kicked up her feet and ignored that insistent whiny voice in her ear demanding she actually stand up and do something with the power she wielded. The world could work itself out alone, she had a cafe to run.
