As suspicious and crazy as it makes Bruce feel, he cannot deny that Clark cares. He’s constantly checking in on Bruce. They talk on the phone practically every day, and Superman has become a frequent and regular visitor at Wayne Manor. Dick adores him. Alfred does too. He keeps making hints about ‘letting Mr. Kent into the club in an official capacity’.
Clark is wonderful. He is good—too good.
He won't treat Bruce the way Bruce wants to be treated.

It’s strange. Bruce Wayne had been waiting for the past six years to meet death, and he had expected her kindness to be the shredding of his eternal spirit. He had not expected her kindness to be forgiveness. That’s what he sees in Selina’s eyes, beyond the coal and the red and the almost hypnotic shimmer meant to destabilize prey. Forgiveness. That’s what compels him to help her, even though he cannot help himself. She gets up and makes for the door. When her hand touches the handle, he exclaims, “Wait!”
She pauses. She does not have to pause. She could disappear in a literal blink. She doesn’t, though. She is benevolent in the way he assumed death would be. She turns to face him.
“Would you like to stay the night?” He asks. “I have a spare room.”
“I can handle myself out there.” She’s swaying back and forth on her heels in a girlish way, as though she is a woman and he is a man and his invitation is making her bashful. But she is not a woman. In her own words, she is not even human.

(Set post Sofia’s death in season 4)The death of Falcone - the older Falcone - had shaken Victor more than he’d ever wanted to admit. The man had found him during the darkest time of his life, and given Victor a purpose in working for him. And then he was gone. The man who, in a way, was as much of a father to him as his biological one, gone in an instant. He kept almost expecting to one day wake up and find the man waiting outside his door.
But he never did.
OR
Victor Zsasz isn’t dealing with the death of the ex-Don Falcone quite as well as he’d like to believe, and isn’t feeling so great about betraying Oswald either. He’s determined to fix it.
(I wrote Victor x Oswald as platonic, but you may read it as romantic if you wish to :) )

(A rewrite of season four, where Ed sticks around after getting out of the ice and Oswald offers him a job at the lounge. Somehow this leads to Ed taking down Sofia Falcone while regaining his intelligence. And maybe if he plays his cards right; winning back Oswald's affections).

Gotham's dark gloomy sky perfectly represented the feeling of every night the Waynes and other affluent families would have as they gaze into the streets, not a bright shining star to be seen, just some visible sitting there from far away watching as chaos unfolded beneath with a few strays shooting from above. It perfectly represented the unrelenting clash of classes that was apparent in a divided Gotham City that was slowly falling further into darkness as no one dared to help

"I don't have to take this," Alessio says, like he's only just decided. He stands, all in a rush, but Jason is standing too. He has his gun out before Alessio does, pointed right in-between his eyes. Alessio freezes, gun only halfway out of his coat.
"Sofia," Jason says, asking without asking.
She considers it for a moment, she really does. She taps a knuckle underneath her chin and finally says, "Give it a second." To Alessio, "Is this your final answer?"
Alessio looks over at Jason. "You do what she tells you?" He says. "Follow her around like some kind of dog? That's it? Is that really the life you want for yourself?"
Jason is quiet for one, two, three heartbeats. Sofia watches and waits for his reaction. "Guess it's better than rummaging around in somebody else's scraps," he says, tone dripping with disdain. "Remind me which one of us is supposed to be the dog again?"
"See?" Sofia says, looking back to Alessio with a smile. "He's learning."
