Hasegawa Ken has always been able to see things right before they happen. Visions, are what he likes to call them.
Whether it's something small like a surprise pop quiz, or the traffic jam that'll happen right the next morning. It didn't affect his life all that much.. So he kept it to himself. Never daring to tell Mao or his parents. He didn't want to become a big celebrity off of it, especially since he doesn't control his 'visions'.
All of that changes when he gets put into a killing game.

The game’s creators, their wardens, wanted him to start thinking like that. They wanted him to be desperate, to cling to life with everything he had, even if it meant destroying somebody else’s.
Unfortunately for them, Kazutoshi had already learned long ago that the world hated him and wanted him dead, and that every single second spent defying that fate was him raising a massive middle finger at God. He had chosen to keep living out of spite, but he refused to do it through the terms set out by the killing game.
And that meant that if he wanted to experience any of those simple, lovely dreams, he was going to have to get everyone out of this alive.

Hasegawa Ken was a prince in the truest sense of the word. Besides the fact that he was born into royalty, he fully embodied everything anyone thought a prince should be. He carried himself with dignity and poise, he was calm and commanding but not strict, hell he even volunteered to teach the poorer children at the village schoolhouse.
He was all-around perfect.
Kamimura Kazutoshi was not.
It’s not his fault, he’s always just been doing what he needs to do to survive.
One mistake.
One misstep.
One chance-encounter.
It should’ve never come to this.

I'm not sure how to feel about this after all that von controversy honestly.. But I want to make it clear that I do not support Von in any shape or form and my love for these characters are separate from the identity of their "creator" and i will be keeping it that way. So I will not be deleting the fic and I hope that people who share the same sentiment can enjoy it!
One day- .. one day, they will get out of here. Out of the killing game. Out of this hell. Under the sky, a real one. It won't be as beautiful as the one Takeshi painted, but it will be real.
They will talk. Just Nakamigawa and Takeshi. They will talk it out and maybe, just maybe, when one of them voices another

...And a completely, absolutely not-ship-related morning game emerges in its stead. Monomoko introduces the students to The Charm Game, where the students would have to face their identities that they may have wished to conceal under lock and key. For some, it may be nothing more than an exciting opportunity to learn more about their classmates. For others, it may be hell itself.
