Summary
There isn't a scratch left on Hikaru. When he was immortalised on camera two weeks ago with his head cracked open, Yoshiki doesn't know how that's possible. What do you have to do to a human being to wipe the slate clean and knit their skin back together so precisely it's as if it never split in the first place? He'd almost prefer there to be an ugly scar across Hikaru's forehead, to see his skin still stretched tight over his bones so that they don't have to pretend he never starved.
Hikaru was halfway dead when the Games ended. He shouldn't be fixed after a stay in the Capitol with a couple jabs in the arm and a blood transfusion or two. It isn't right.
Against all odds, Hikaru Indou, fifteen years old and with a gash as big as his fist torn into his head, wins the Hunger Games.
But he does not come home.

Soap only grins and shrugs. “What can Ah say?”
Alejandro and Rudy groan in frustration. Even Ghost is drawn into the proceedings. “Do you know?” he rumbles at Price.
