What if we had a story about Susan's life? This, for now, is a commentary of the problem of Susan after the Last Battle (Narnia) but EVEN BETTER is how Susan CONTINUED to live and I believe over 90% of it.

a hilarious as the underlying concept can be sometimes, if you look at it right (‘luz is secretly a monster’ is not a rare trope, but it is incredibly unique to see said monster be *200 feet tall*) i LOVE that this fic is taken seriously and not relegated just to crackfic, because the idea really does have a lot of potential that is brought to life in this fic
luz’s hangups and worries about being half ginormous dragon aren’t brushed off or played for laughs, they’re genuine concerns, and her friends and found family help her through it!
also, the episode twists are beautiful!! turning the little hand puppet gag in the slitherbeast episode into a nod to ghidorah’s three heads, making the otabin encounter into a monster boss battle vs (tiny) godzilla, and seeing all the witches’ reactions to Titans once luz shows them…
i think my favorite part is king giving luz her own title and commanding her like a demon under his rule, it’s so cute <3

Hunter finds himself in the impossible situation of waking up in the past, and being himself, unhesitatingly throws himself under the bus in order to help the people who, in his mind, he owes so much more than just his life to.
All Luz sees is a desperate, hurt child soldier who was ready and willing to throw himself into the boiling sea if she so much as hints that it would make her, King, or Eda happy. This sufficiently worries her.
Eda just desperately wants to know who this kid who showed up out of nowhere and cursed himself for her is. Lilith's kid? Belos'? Raine's? Who the heck would have a kid who latches onto the Owl Lady!?
Everyone else is wondering just what the heck Eda did to inspire such vicious loyalty from the former Golden Guard who, at this point, they're almost certain is her son. Lilith most especially.

EXCELLENT lovely well-written fic.. starts out as a very amusing journey of Penny being seemingly the only one to notice ScarVio's various glitches happening as terrifying mutations of reality, and realizing that with how helpful Team Star is in investigating and possibly reversing this, calling the Player Trainer to cause their downfall is shooting herself in the foot... and ends off an emotional and meaningful story about finding healthy outlets for your emotions and not letting them rule you, acknowledging going about things alone often isn't the best way to get anything done even if it feels deserved, and the people you find who can become your most cherished people, even if family lets you down...
ends up bringing Team Star AND Arven, Nemona, and Player Charater Julianne together as an extended friendgroup >:DD
