King Jahad and his machination to own Bam in all facets. No pairing as of yet but God, the almost romantic undertone between Jahad and Bam is enough to make me froth from the sheer goodness of it. Damn, I love and hate what Jahad does to Bam in this fic, the amount of manipulation (and gaslighting and everything else) here makes me want to flip table or hurl my phone. It makes me want to choose violence in every chapter. Go away, you obsessive when-I-desire-you-to-be-pretty virgin who needs to get laid instead of pinning over the son of the woman he loved Jahad coward! 😤😤😤

Made a fool of herself when Bruce was busy taking himself too seriously just to make him smile and talked Natasha into braiding her hair whenever it looked like she was shutting herself off.
And if that meant she never had a place in the spotlight herself she was fine with it. If it meant she would be there to offer support while they all were out there, saving the world, instead of getting her own chance to be the hero it was a deal she was willing to take.
They were meant for greatness. Jane's fate had been written in the stars and hers on a gravestone but that didn't mean she would simply sit and wait for the day that had filled her childhood nights with horror.She would be the best fucking side-kick the world would never hear about.
Most days she could pretend that was enough.

Okay Guys, so dying? Not really on my agenda that night. Like, at all. But it happened. And waking up afterwards? Also not part of the plan. Also happened. Staring into dark black eyes, one thing become increasing clear to me: my luck is fucking terrible.
After dying, 22 year-old Evaline Jones wakes up as 3 year-old Kaida in Konoha, which is very much not where she should be. Kaida now has to learn to traverse streets full of life, with darkness nipping at her tail, all the while trying to keep her friends alive. It's both much harder and easier since she's a civilian. And everyone else is a ninja. Especially since she doesn't have any chakra. Or speak their language. It's a very good thing that Kaida's as stubborn as her look-alike.
This is a self-incert, because I'm very weak about that sort of thing.

Pacing is pretty slow but it’s such a well thought out and unique story that I don’t even care. Take me with you on this rambling journey, author, that I may continue to find delight in every sentence.
Heavy on the slightly unnecessary miscommunication and nobody-explains-themselves tropes but then again…these are traumatized post-war shinobi and wizards, not board certified therapists who aced communications classes. 🤣 I don’t always fully explain myself with my own friends and family so I can understand why they aren’t with potential enemies.
