Summary
Guy Gardner didn't fall to General Zod or the Phantom Zone.
He didn't fall to Sinestro or his Corps.
He didn't even fall to Jordan's trampling of common courtesy or Batman's right goddamn hook.
So it's unfair, really, that his own body is trying to rebel against him and the only person in eight sectors who can do anything about it seems to be the first person willing to ask Guy's opinion on the matter.
Mostly, it turns out, because Guy doesn't know what he wants done himself. (Apparently, that makes healing harder. Go figure.)

Summary
Roy Harper is well aware of the strange cult members dabbling in power they have no hope of understanding, infesting the city and making a general nuisance of themselves. He should probably deal with that, and maybe he would have, but he moved specifically to avoid magical entanglements for a few years and help his daughter navigate the world without using charms as crutches.
He probably should have expected that, eventually, it would end up on his doorstep anyway.
(He's not mad Dick beat him to the punch. He's a little miffed about the bribery and the kittens, though.)

It’s definitely not how Stephanie meant to broach the topic.
It is, in retrospect, probably what saves her life.

Summary
Cha Minwoo was an anomaly.
He wasn't religious, but always had an odd expression around churches. All his siblings were dead, and his friends murdered, yet he wasn't fazed at all. He's choose an abandoned, rundown, one-story lot over a private, skyscraper hotel room. He was unfamiliar with the most basic bits of pop culture, but could recite the date of every Solstice off the top of his head.
Even without his inexplicable appearance in the ruins of a Tower—nothing about Minwoo made any logical sense.
So, of course Ma Seong-Un couldn't help but be terribly fascinated.
Minwoo tilted his head at him, and Seong-Un could swear he had never seen someone act so naturally condescending. Not without being a CEO's heir or a word class idol.
“How old do I look to you?”
“Early to mid-twenties.” Seong-Un’s voice was clipped as he rattled off the estimate, straight from Rogue’s too-thin profile on him.
“Okay, I'm 24 then.” Minwoo spoke in a shit-eating tone, making it clear he was choosing a number from the middle on purpose.
“Alright then.” Seong-Un simply wrote child, knowing his team would edit it in post. “Birth date?”

"You mean you've put too many resources," Taeyoung snaps. "Shouldn't you be the one to fix it?"
Mr. Ma leans back in his chair again to look up condescendingly at Taeyoung, like he didn't literally just learn his lesson five seconds ago. (He probably didn't.) "You think I'm gonna do it? No fucking way. I don't get paid nearly enough for that."
"Oh, and I do?" Taeyoung has never killed anyone outside of orders before, but suddenly he sees the merit in it.
Mr. Ma gives him a look that says, That's not my problem—which nearly pushes Taeyoung over the very thin line of a genuine attempt at murder—but what he says out loud is, "I'll give you a bonus."
Following the fight with Griffin, Taeyoung gives Minu a hand.
