She holds out a polaroid, an old, worn polaroid. A polaroid he would keep stashed in his tac vest. A polaroid he'd keep beside his bedside. A polaroid he promised himself to burn after the failed extraction. Laura clears her throat, unaware of König's turmoil. “Who is this?”
Horangi. Kim Hong-Jin. A lieutenant. My lieutenant. A friend. My best friend. My other fucking half.
König runs a hand through his hair, laughing to himself. He shrugs, brushing off the statement. “Just an old squadmate, ja?” He smiles, taking the polaroid into his scarred, callused hand. The sight of it alone makes him want to break down, cry into his own hands and curl over like the pathetic excuse of a man he is.

You jump from group to group, not really fitting in anywhere, until a risky mission forces you and Konig to bond with each other. The both of you are now inseparable.
It comes to light that someone's put a target on your back; you discovered classified information somewhere along hopping between Special Forces groups. The information leads to an issue much deeper and corrupted than anyone had imagined, leading KORTAC and SPECGRU to work together. You realize that time never healed anything, and things would only get worse between you and Ghost - and, now, Konig.
