Summary
A simple task, an easy task. Infiltrate the castle of Old Scotland, get close to the King. Kill him. One simple job Ghost had performed dozens of times before on plenty of innocent nobles. Dangerous given the rank, but a worthy risk for the reward of freedom. Instead, he became the personal guard of the man he was supposed to kill. It put more eyes on him than before, and made his job infinitely more difficult. As if trying not to fall for the man he was being hired to kill wasn't enough to deal with.
Soap knew ruling Old Scotland in his parent's stead was going to be difficult, but he was not prepared for the looming threat of a neighbouring Kingdom proposing war. Discovering the truth of his parent's deaths, and the real identity of his new personal guard was going to become far more difficult.

But the 141 suddenly showed a strong interest in the house you inherited from your father. Even worse though, the leader John Price and his mate, Nikolai, seemed to like you even more.
While the Shadows were annoying and Graves was persistent, he at least accepted your no. Somewhat.Problem was, it didn’t seem like the 141 took no for an answer.

The 141 are asked to help Farah look into some missing people in Urzikstan, and help figure out what was going on. They definitely found something, they aren’t sure what it is or what is happening, let alone how to fix it.
Is it just some human trafficking? Some terrorists trying to get some payback? Or is it something that goes deeper and darker than anything the task force has had to deal with.The smell that hung in the air was nauseating, it was almost like a punch to the face as Ghost and Soap set off the explosives to get passed the doors. It could only be described as rotting flesh, mildew and something they can’t really describe. As the large metal doors on the building were forced open, the air wafted the scent out to the six of them.
“Allaenat aljahim,” Farah cursed, dropping the cloth from her face and coughing.
Gaz had a hand pressed to the cement wall of the building, emptying the contents of his stomach.
“Steamin’ Jesus…” Soap gagged a little as he tried to breath, “something definitely fuckin’ died in there.”
“A bit more than just something, I'd guess,” Ghost hummed.

King Shepherd's favourite tracker Ghost thought it was easy money to find a castle bred brat and deliver him back, until he was told the man's true purpose: Demise of said castle bred brat. Now faced with the choice of either helping the kid or the man who wanted him dead, Ghost found it somewhat easy to pick the right one. Even if the recipient of his help seemed to be ungrateful for it.
Kingsroad was long, the road they were on dangerous, but they both had too many things to learn. Both about themselves and each other.
