Marinette’s social life has been rather turbulent since Lila Rossi returned. Lila had sway over her friends and teachers due to her silver-tongue, got up nice and close with Adrien thanks to her very real modeling gig but the most painful thing of all was that Lila always had to come first and if possible, she’d spin things around so Marinette had to be put last. Doesn’t help that Marinette feels like she has barely anyone to talk to without risking destroying everything she knows after the Chat Blanc debacle.
Enter Henri Leroi, a handsome new kid with plenty of charm and chivalry. Someone who would put Marinette first. And unbeknownst to Marinette, would put everyone else - besides himself of course - dead last without a shred of remorse and wouldn’t even salt the earth for afters.
Her friends would learn that the hard way. And Adrien just couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was terribly wrong. It's going to be a near-impossible task with Henri being a reverse-Lila but bigger and badder. And to think that another villain entering the battlefield was the hardest challenge he’d face. Oh right, he almost forgot about that last bit. How fun.

Summary
Marinette Dupain-Cheng is in a high school battlefield. Between a changing classroom social hierarchy, a superhero life where she has to deal with the annoying and chaotic Cat Noir, her feelings for Adrien Agreste, and that same model boy sending her confusing signals as he tries to befriend her, survival feels impossible. Marinette can't talk to Adrien without being a mess. So what better way to pursue the famous model than as Paris' very own superheroine?
Adrien is supposed to be perfect, so he loves his secret life as the chaotic, free Cat Noir who doesn't have to follow strict rules, who can enjoy an ice cream without worrying about his father's reprimand. And while he at first considers Ladybug a stick in the mud, he somehow develops feelings for the masked girl. Feelings that he pushes as both Cat Noir and Adrien. But dating Ladybug has a few strings attached.
Suddenly, Ladybug is gone. No one knows that Bunnix visited Master Fu to warn him of the future where Marinette messes up, resulting in him losing his memories, and her losing all the miraculous. Cat Noir is now alone. Even with the few other superheroes by his side, they're not Ladybug. But maybe Ladybird can fill the emptiness in their team.
