This new chaotic season seems to be hosted on a tropical island located in Hawaii. And Chris is not present because he was taking a long and relaxing ‘hiatus.’ Plus, Camp Wawanakwa is not in a good state to host after a certain incident involving a giant Roomba.
(I swear I dunno much about Hawaii, I just picked this name because of Majima’s spinoff game (Lad Gaiden: Pirates in Hawaii) and said to myself: hey wait, what if Majima hosted Total Drama? That’s gonna be funny and random. Forgive me.)

It has been forty-eight hours since the Resonance Cascade.
The Black Mesa Research Facility is scarred beyond recognition. What had once been the largest single scientific institution in the world has been turned into a battleground, where humanity is fighting against both itself and the invaders from another world. The facility's staff have been nearly wiped out by their own military, which itself has been forced by the alien threat to withdraw, while a secretive special forces unit struggles in vain to cover up their failures.
Desperate to stop the invasion, the surviving Black Mesa staff make frantic plans to hold off their attackers long enough for one of their number to take the fight to the enemy. But the addition of a stranded Marine, a shadowy bureaucrat, a further intrusion, and an atomic warhead continue to add new developments to the ongoing crisis.
As chaos takes hold across the world, strange and unaccustomed alliances are formed on both sides of the dimensional rift, as the diminishing number of survivors try desperately to save what they can of their existence as hell consumes the earth.

Follow the thoughts and misadventures of Dr. Gordon Freeman, a 27-year old XCOM operative and neurotic individual, as he goes from intrepid rookie to hardened colonel, bitching about it all the while. Though who knows, perhaps he'll actually make some friends among his new peers?
