"They what,” Warriors says, smile turning strained. Hyrule takes one of the man’s hands and presses it to his tunic, feeling the slightly misshapen ribs underneath that Hyrule hadn’t really known how to fix. He’d figured out the concept of setting bones pretty early on - through messy trial and error - but ribs were confusing in that regard. “Ooh, Nayru.”
“It’s a miracle that you’re alive,” Twilight informs him.
“Thank you,” Hyrule chirps.
Fairy magic isn’t meant to be used by Hylians, even if Hyrule’s somehow gotten the grasp of it. He’s also become the Chain’s healer and is unhappy about it. Warriors steps in to help.

“Well,” the boy said to it as the sun dipped closer to the trees, “your hero didn't show up yet, but I bet they're coming! I bet they're real nice, too. You’re probably going to save the world together.”
He was borrowing it. He was borrowing the Sword of Legend, and… what, checking in to see if it was needed? Waiting for a hero to come for it?
It wasn’t sure what to think. It wasn’t supposed to think about its wielders. But it found itself looking forward to the stories, keeping an eye out while the boy slept, memorizing as much of the information he gave it as it could.
Its job was to protect the innocent, after all.

Link looks at the bundle of dirty linen on Ravio’s lap and realises it is not a bundle of dirty lined, but the emaciated body of a kid. The poor thing is so skinny he almost disappears into his own clothes. Link cringes as seeing the gaunt face poking out the ragged travel coat.
“Great, now dark magic portals are throwing dead corpses in our yard.” He comments sombrely.
“Uuuuh, Mister Hero? I don’t think it’s a dead corpse…”

The others had all reacted with discomfort and shock at first, and it’s not like he can blame them, especially now that he’s been in most of their homelands to compare. The magic that permeates the air of his Hyrule is potent and suffocating in the outlands, and not in a good way.
It’s tainted.
It leaves your mouth tasting like copper, makes your head pulse behind your eyes, your heart beat just a little bit too fast. It’s thick, heavy, all encompassing.
Exhausting.
But Wild… Wild just gives a soft hum when they’re dropped in the middle of a deserted, empty clearing, looks around, and tilts his head to the side as if taking everything in. When Hyrule lays claim to the world, he shifts to turn his gaze over his shoulder and study Hyrule intently for a moment, comes to some sort of unknown conclusion, and just…
Nods.
Hyrule notices.
