Regulus black is so lost.
He doesn't regret running away from his psycho, Christian, and abusive parents. But he does wish he did some things differently, like maybe steal more from their insane amount of savings, or wreck the house before he left. The one thing he regrets the most is not making a plan. Now he's wandering the city with a heavy bag that has as much of his stuff that he could fit into it, and he has no idea where he's going.

Summary
Regulus has always known about Sirius' friends.
Always knew about their existence since Sirius met them. He was always aware of everything. Maybe too aware for some people's opinions.
He knew and remembered almost everything, no matter how hard he tried not to, and it was a curse to him. To Alphard it was a blessing because, as much as Regulus loved him, he was very, very forgetful and oblivious. Andromeda used to say that Alphard and Regulus were exact opposites and that's why Regulus found the most comfort in Alphard. Why he always ran to him when he couldn't figure something out and needed an adult to help.
He always saw Alphard as more of a parent than his own. It was reasonable, very reasonable, that he did. Walburga and Orion were never caring or kind to him and Sirius. They mattered as much as dirt to them. Sirius hated them as soon as he became aware. Regulus never dared to. He could never hate his parents, as much as he may want to. He never had the heart to. He wasn't as brave as Sirius was, and never would be, really.
“Reggie! Guests are here!" Was what brought Regulus back to reality. He slowly, and very reluctantly, closed the book in his lap and stood up, taking his time to walk inside.

After defeating Voldemort, Harry thought things would get better or at least a semblance of normal. But on his 18th birthday, he presents as an omega! He knows there's nothing wrong with having a dynamic or being an omega, but it's not easy to go through such a big change. And then someone goes through his medical records and fucking publishes(!!) them. Newspapers and tabloids speculate about his body: they wonder why he's not an alpha, debate if he will break up with Ginny, and then go after people close to him with absolutely no regard or respect for his well-being, even after everything he has been through. Harry is hurt and frustrated, so decides to get the hell out. He finds a cute muggle town in Pennsylvania with a big empty house on the edge of a forest in need of some love and occupants. With Sirius and Remus' help, Harry moves into his new home and starts a new life for himself. He's not alone for long, however, as friends and non-friends keep finding their way onto his front porch (and into his heart).

Ever since Remus was old enough to complete a sentence, he had a harder time navigating through life than most.
Being Jewish can be challenging at times. Being gay aliens you from certain groups of people in your life. Being both mentally and physically… unstable, would make you want to stay in bed and weep about six out of seven mornings a week. Being all of them- god, Remus often wondered how he even made it this far. And he’s not even 18 yet.
At some point during his unfortunate mess of a life, Remus learned to use Poetry as a way of keeping his head above the water. Pouring words onto the page so that his pain is no longer just his own, creating beauty out of his shame and doubt.
And now, at the ripe old age of 17, Remus set his mind to an ambitious goal: publish a poetry book by the time he finishes high school.
