When Ranboo moves to a small, fishing town after having been kicked out of his old school, he starts to notice oddities in the Harbor and its inhabitants. He hears strange whispers of a curse and a beast that dwells in the water.
Curious and wanting to investigate the local legends further, Ranboo is plunged into a world of magic, monsters, and evil.As well as a ghost that just won't leave him alone.
With newfound abilities that he doesn't understand, Ranboo teams up with the owner of an herbal shop along with his children in the hopes of helping Hurricane Harbor with their very real and very dangerous problem. However, the only way Ranboo can do that is if he faces the truths and traumas of his past that have kept him running for so long.

Yet, Tommy finds Dream near a river by their house, not remembering how he died, or the months of prison leading up to it.---
“Hey, Dream?” Tommy asked, making sure to keep his voice slightly lower than normal, both in case the ghost was easily startled and to not wake any of his household, “How’d you die?”

Dream’s eyes open again and he glares up at him, “Techno?”
“Yeah?” Techno offers, studying his shiny jade eyes and trying to ignore how limp the body in his arms is. How icy his skin feels. How faint his heart beat is. How every breath and word seems to be an arduous task.
“‘I h’v’ a h’use.”
A laugh rips out of Techno’s throat, “Oh yeah, then why did you come to my house?”

Once the streams ended, George left the call. He moved to his bed and Dream joined him. They were on their rightful sides of the bed. George with the ability to lay on his right arm to keep his dominant hand free. And Dream on the opposite side for the same reasons.
George extended his left hand and rested it on the bed in the middle of their bodies. “What if he doesn’t like me in person? Or finds me talking to a ghost and kicks me out? What if he hates me?”
Dream rested his right hand on George’s, watching it phase through the brunette’s. Dream only offered a kind smile. “He’ll love you. He has to.”
“Why?”
“Because I love you, and I’m dead.” Dream said and George giggled at him a bit. Dream’s smile widening.
“I love you too.” George said, feeling the ghostly presence of a kiss on his forehead before he drifted off.

Dream is a ghost who has been with George since he was 4 years old. They were the same age then and are the same age now. Dream has grown up with George and George is the only one who can see him, besides his newly acquired best friend/roommate, Sapnap. George and Dream have always loved each other and with Sapnap’s help maybe they can finally touch.
