Only her closet friends and family know who she is. When she's not being Supergirl, she's Cat Grants assistant. What happens when super CEO, Lena Luthor, pays a visit to CatCo?
Lena Luthor is the newest CEO of LuthorCorp, soon to be named LCorp. Not many people like her because of her brothers very public views of immigration and the queer community. It doesn't matter that she has openly come out as lesbian, they all think shes just like her brother. She can count of 3 fingers the amount of people that like her. Her best friend/CFO Sam, Sams daughter Ruby, and her assistant Jess. What happens when she goes into CatCo for an interview and meets the dorky and lovable assistant to Cat Grant?

Kara's body isn't taken over by a different soul, she remains Kara Zor-El, but simply remembers a previous life, almost like an amnesiac regaining her memories.
WARNING: Kara starts in a very bad situation and her exposure to kryptonite for so long leaves a mark on her, but it is NOT the focus of the story, the fic isn't about angst.

Kara Zor- El was sent to earth to conquer her and with her girlfriend Sam Arias or Karisa In-Ze. Kara is a princess on Krypton but instead of Kara being sent to earth she ended up on Slavers Moon. Sam lives a very full life on Earth even having a child that is technically Karas (placed in stasis in her mother's uterus). Ruby was the result of a 'virgin' birth. Whilst Sam is investigating something for Lena. Sam runs into Kara who she does not recognize. Sam does know Kara is the mother of her child.

Kara and Lena have been best friends since they met in college and have grown into adults together and Kara is painfully in love with her best friend while Lena has dated various men and women throughout their entire friendship. And Kara never really minded those relationships because Kara could tell that none of them would really last. None of them were ever good enough for Lena and Kara could see that they would end in failure until one day Lena was gushing over her latest date with someone who she seemed to really, really like. It turned into a significant other until finally one day Lena told Kara about the ring on her finger because she’d said yes after finally finding “the one.”
It was in that moment that Kara realized that she had taken Lena for granted, had taken their friendship for granted and now she had to pay for never finding the courage to tell Lena about her feelings. Kara had never told Lena about her true feelings because she thought she would just have time and keep having more time until the day she realized that she didn’t. Time had run out and Lena was going to walk down the aisle, asking Kara to be her Maid of Honor and Kara was a masochist. She had said yes.

Kara is left alone in the Fortress of Solitude for an entire month before Alex and J’onn find her curled up on the ground with her arms wrapped around her legs, chin resting on her knees, gaze vacant but traumatized. Lena had left Kara there all alone for an entire month and Kara hasn’t moved a single muscle in that time and her body has become emaciated, her body atrophied from disuse, and so weak that she can’t even move herself if she wants to without some assistance. She is broken in both mind and body. Kara is a mere shell in her body, mind somewhere else entirely.

Summary
Kara has had plenty of time to think about where things went wrong between Lena and her and how she had caused things to end up like this. Being stuck in the Fortress of Solitude for hours gave her time to think and time to reflect all of the times she’d wronged Lena, doubted her, treated her horribly, and then turned around and tried to make up for it as Kara Danvers. As Kara stood there for hours, Kara started to realize all of the times she was wrong and knew that there was only one way of fixing it.
