Or; class 2-A goes to Teyvat Academy, which is rumoured to be brainwashing their people and giving them false quirks called visions, to save their citizens and take Teyvat's government to the world court and expose their crimes.
But Teyvatians, who in fact do not need saving, are so done with their efforts to invade their land and decide to teach them a lesson.

Upon the rapid appearance of quirks, vision users were shunned and Teyvat shut its door to the public. The elusive nation still remained closed off to the public but after an incident with Japan, the cracks began to form. Decades after the initial isolation, a prominent Japanese hero school reaches out to Teyvat Academy and a six month exchange program is proposed to it's mysterious staff council. Will it fall upon deaf ears and be turned down, securing the secrecy of an already restricted country, or will it be accepted, opening opportunities for outside forces to infiltrate, for better or for worse?

So, I died in my world, got reincarnated in Teyvat, and was given a grand mission: save the world. Perfect setup for your average epic-length isekai story, right? There’s just one tiny problem.
I got turned into a Slime. As if saving an entire planet wasn’t hard enough already. Getting a Vision or a powerful weapon? Clearly out of the question if even getting back a human body was too much to ask for.

The history of Teyvat was well-known to the players. Or not. Depends.
The Heavenly Principles or The ‘Primordial One’ alongside Its Four Shining Shades, took Teyvat as Its own when the Dragon King Nibelung left the world to search amongst the sea of stars a solution to stop the calamity about to happen in His beloved world, leaving behind the Three Moon Sisters on His stead. Battles and wars occurred when the Dragon King Nibelung returned, and the aftermath of these remains present—whether or not the reason behind was known to mortals or descendants of the dragonkin.
But what if these never happened?
What if these two never fought?
What if these two allied with one another instead?
What if this new turn of events in the ancient past caused the Dragon King Nibelung and the Heavenly Principles to never have an heir?
The New Loom of Fate took matters into its own hands, taking several gods in the Teyvat we knew, dead or alive, alongside the Traveler and their sibling, into this other timeline.

Summary
The fate of a world should never rely on students' shoulders, but the people of Teyvat are in danger.
The Pro Heroes know that. The Japanese citizens know that. Teyvat Academy knows that.
So, the Headmistress of Teyvat Academy strikes a deal with the Principal of U.A. A six month non-reciprocal exchange between the two schools where seven Teyvat students go to Japan. They will be separated into two groups - an initial three students followed by four more.
In the end, only the students can save Teyvat - not even the gods.
