He can’t. Just the idea makes his stomach churn. He hasn’t even spoken to Will in years now, not since he left Hawkins. Strangely enough, Mike Wheeler held a grudge, his intense feelings got the best of him. He felt betrayed, felt abandoned. Andy had left without saying goodbye. No matter how much it seemed uncharacteristic of her, even if she did promise they'll see each other on Monday the next week when she left his house, their supposed sleepover interrupted. He still felt furious. Anger wells up in him at the thought of Andy leaving him behind, just like that.
Mike gets torn between the past and present when Charles Mercier, her brother, comes back to Hawkins after two years, claiming that Andy had never left Hawkins.
