Fun and funny! I personally think the characterisation is pretty natural-- the mental image of Lucifer just standing around in the middle while Alastor goes venison on other Overlords is incredibly humorous. The way that- despite the singular POV- we still have vague ideas of what other characters might be internally thinking, mixed with the internal(?) constant monologue, is well done. Lucifer's begrudging reluctance into accepting Alastor is satisfying, along with Valentino's death.
The side implications of Alastor and Rosie is also exciting. I think if there were a sequel, I would definitely come back to read! In any case, this Attack Deer Alastor is one of my favorites.
