“Do you know something?” Jonathan asked.
Silence for a few moments, then “I might.” Robin’s face was still unreadable. “Do you know something?”
Jonathan nodded slowly. “I might as well.”
They both looked away again, Jonathan’s mind racing. He swallowed hard, not really sure what else to say as he slowly turned to Robin again. She was doing the same, and they looked away quickly.
The silence was deafening, but the realisation was even louder. Jonathan nearly choked as Robin gasped, and they both leaped to their feet. The desk chair Robin was sitting in rolled away, while Jonathan’s fully fell back as they pointed accusingly at each other.
“You know!” Jonathan blurted out.
“And you know!” Robin shot right back.

“Wheelers, huh?” Jonathan murmurs, with a slight smile. “Got some kinda spell over us, man.”
“God, tell me about it,” Will groans.

Mike sighed as he moved back to his knees in front of Will. The more clarity Will regained, the more he felt the need to shuffle, to look away, to cover his blushing face. Mike was on his knees in front of him. God, he should not be thinking like this. The proximity didn’t help, nor the fact that Mike’s gaze seemed unable to leave Will’s face for more than ten seconds.
“I’m gonna have to deal with that gash,” He said, and Will huffed.
“I can– I can do it myself, Mike–” He said, making to get up before wincing in pain at the tug on his wounded skin, collapsing back into the chair with a gasp.
“Would you stop that?” Mike urged, voice stern. Will stared back at him.
“Stop what?”
“Trying to– I don’t know, play this off. Act like I shouldn’t care,”
“You shouldn’t care, Mike. I’m fine, it’ll heal.”
“I know that, Will. I know you can look after yourself if you need to. But you don’t. I’m here, just— just let me help you,”
Will met Mike’s pleading gaze and caved in a matter of moments.________________
Or, Will gets in a fight. Mike patches him up.

The gravel beneath his knees is hard and digging into his skin through his jeans. He barely registers kneeling down on the hard floor, because suddenly, there is somebody running towards him – Mike.
Will looks up at him right as Mike kneels beside him, his face split open by a huge grin, his eyes glinting in the warm light from the fires nearby. For a moment, neither of them says anything. Then, there is a warm arm around his shoulders and Mike is squeezing his fingers with the other hand. “You saved me, Will”, Mike gasps into his hair.
