Bucky tapped him on the shoulder, swaying back and forth a little as he waited for the man to turn around. “Hello,” he said, and then promptly forgot what else he was going to say, because this guy was fucking beautiful. “Wow. Good face.”
Two of the guy’s friends, a man wearing a suit that fit so well it had to be bespoke and a man with a cute little gap between his front teeth, started cracking up. The petite redhead sitting next to them cocked her head to the side and pulled her phone out of her handbag. Beautiful Face just looked kind of pained, so Bucky redirected. He was a gentleman. He could take a hint. No hitting on beautiful guys who were uncomfortable with that sort of thing, no matter how lickable their jawlines were.
“Hello,” he repeated, doing his best to mind his manners. “I’m very sorry to bother you. Can I have a piggy-back ride?”

Summary
While on a mission storming a HYDRA facility, James Buchanan Barnes touches one of the many strange alien devices collected by the Red Skull. He does this, in fact, twice— in the past, and in the future.
Next thing he knows, Bucky Barnes is opening his eyes in the 21st century, which is full of great gadgets and coffee, and at least includes his old pal Steve. (And, inexplicably, a different Stark.) Meanwhile, the Winter Soldier finds himself in the middle of World War Two, helping Captain America hunt down HYDRA (which is at least familiar), pretending to be Bucky Barnes (which is not), and figuring out the very noisy group of soldiers who call themselves the Howling Commandos.

What began in the OG Bodies in Time as a weird AU turned into a massive Epic Series complete with side works and a few people playing in the sandbox, and now the Authors are going back and creating a definitive Director's Cut.
Darcy and the women of her maternal line can travel in time and space by swapping bodies with important historical figures about to die before they do their important historical thing. Darcy swaps with Steve, and quite a few rules get broken. This starts a set of dominoes toppling that change the entire world, the entire galaxy, and the fabric of history itself.

Summary
Bucky Barnes is a Dom in a world full of ridiculous subs who all somehow end up in his care. Don't ask him how that happens, because he has no idea. But he's still pretty fond of them all
This is a mostly platonic series where Bucky became Steve's domestic Dom when they were teens, then Peggy Carter's domestic Dom after Captain America joined the war, and because he was a Dom NCO, he ended up disciplining a lot of random soldiers, too.
Then after the war and the Winter Soldier thing (which still happens in this world but he's recovered in the late 90's by Fury and Carter) he helped out at SHIELD, where he had to discipline some familiar baby SHIELD agents from time to time, and then somehow became TJ Hammond's domestic Dom. (His great nephew, of Political Animals fandom, also played by Sebastian Stan)
THEN! After TJ is kidnapped (because his mom is finally president) and recovered by one pissed-off Winter Soldier, the two of them are relocated to Atlantis (of Stargate Atlantis, because I can) for security purposes. And TJ finds his perfect man, and the series' only real ship happens.OR-

Alex Summers didn't have the best relationship with his family. That was only to be expected, considering his parents couldn't stand mutants, and Alex is about as mutant as they come. The only bright spot had been his brother, Scott, but he had been dead for years. Or so Alex had thought, until the CIA called the X-Men for help with an illegal mutant experimentation lab run by Trask Industries.
A lab that just so happened to be holding an apparently-not-dead Scott Summers.
And now, Alex doesn't care if he has to burn all of Trask Industries to the ground. He's getting his brother back.
(Or: The Summers brothers appear to share the God-given talent of blowing stuff up. People should really begin to take that as a warning not to mess with them.)
