On an isolated, terraformed planet the buildings are so tall they fall outside the bounds of the artificial air generators, forcing them to have their own supply. Both dark magic and high tech equipment are used equally, employed to create the ultimate weapons which they then sell off and ship to civil wars on other planets. Cursed items, surgery, medicine, and occasional gender reassignment are utilized to create their highest former human output:
Hound-Servos.
Many of them are kept throughout the unnamed planet as a number of things, essentially replacing the other planets' cores of automatons — servants, pets, sex toys, companions with implanted personalities, and of course assassins disguised as 'another hound gone rogue'. Many people advocate for stricter control of who can own, sell, and produce Hound-Servos, but it simply too profitable, and the law of the planet is nearly nonexistent after being bribed into inactivity. I'll be writing whatever short stories appeal to me most in the setting first.
