Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it.
But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless.
Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.

Tori paused, a lettuce leaf doused in lemon juice halfway to her mouth. “Itachi,” she said, working very hard to contain laughter, “do you not know about chopping garlic?”
“It was an early cooking attempt,” Itachi said blandly, “as I’m sure your salad is.”
“We own a garlic press now,” Kisame said helpfully.
They settled on a movie, which started with a quick interview from the main actor, who talked about how he’d been drawn to this role because of the amazing twist ending. The movie itself was a drama, set in a world where warriors seemed to be ninja-samurai fusions, and where an evil king had taken over twenty years prior.
Very important to Tori’s interests, the main character had a sword made out of scorned ghosts. Were those real? She’d take seven.
Not five minutes into the movie, Tori asked, “So is the twist that the sword guy is the son of the evil king?”
Kisame twitched. “I’m sure we’ll find out,” he said.
A few scenes later, an evil sorceress (kunoichi?) announced she had a “truth jutsu” that could destroy the main character.
“Yeah, he’s definitely the king’s lost son,” Tori concluded.
“I don’t understand how this jutsu is supposed to work,” Itachi said. “Where is the information coming from?”
“I’m sure,” Kisame said, voice oddly strained, “that the movie will tell us eventually.”
Itachi, however, couldn’t seem to hold himself back from critiquing the ghost sword (which, to Tori’s disappointment, was not a real thing), or everyone’s fighting technique, or the bizarrely prevalent use of “summoning jutsu” to summon plot-relevant items to various characters.

“Oni-baba?” Hidan hissed from behind her, and Tori startled. Hidan hip-checked her as he stepped around her. “That’s your moniker, seriously?”
“It was more like an insulting nickname,” Tori defended, aiming an elbow at his ribs. He hopped out of the way with an shit-eating grin on his face. “‘Cause most of Oto was just kids, so I seemed old, I guess.”
“No,” Itachi interrupted from his perch on the table. He still seemed bored, staring dully at the Oto-nin. “Oni-baba was a witch who ate the livers of children. I’m sure it’s a reference to your research.”
Tori paused. She frowned.
“We cut out spleens,” she corrected.
“I’m glad that’s the part you object to,” Itachi replied.
“Spleens!” Hidan crowed. “And what did you do with them?”
“We…” Tori imagined skin bubbling and then bursting as bone broke through. She blinked several times. “Experimental gene-editing of osteogenic–”
“Fuck, nevermind,” Hidan cut her off. He eyed her for a few moments. “I think you and Sasori should race.”

Maybe we can just leave her in the woods,” Obito told her, Tobi-esque fake sympathy lacing his words. “I’m sure that as a rich, spoiled lady who’s probably never set foot in a forest, she’ll be fine.”“Do you think we can still leave her with a nice farmer family?” Tori wondered.
She pulled her bag to herself, unpacking and rearranging things as she and Obito brainstormed increasingly unhinged ways to get rid of Erin. (Perhaps she could be in charge of the kamui bees?) Tori was also concerned that there wasn’t an obvious, direct cause of the supposed haunting, besides Lady Etsuko maybe being very mentally unwell. It seemed like the two of them would indeed end up there for more than a few days after all. At least there would be good food?
In the side pocket of her backpack, Tori discovered a small glass vial with a rubber stopper. Wrapped around it was a note from Sasori, with instructions on how to dose herself with poison. This made Tori completely forget about fake ghosts or the Erin situation.
“Are you kidding me?” she said, holding up the vial for Obito to see. “What is wrong with him? He didn’t even give me gloves or anything to measure it with!”

He thinks about how the galaxy is, for now, free of the Sith Lords and how he has three families that love him and care for him, of his Padawans and how they make him proud and exasperated at the same time.
His journey until here was a long and a hard one. Everything that could possibly go wrong did go wrong. But now he has an entire life to enjoy himself, to enjoy his calling: be a Jedi without carrying the weight of the fate of the galaxy in his shoulders.
He thinks about his own destiny, which once promised him infinite sadness , and now how he still feels sad - and it’ll be always a part of who he is, but it doesn’t define his life anymore - and how deep down he feels that warm feeling that’s been taking root in his chest ever since he woke up in the past. He didn’t have a name for it then, but he does have one now.

“No Bakugo.” Shoto’s voice was hollow, quieter than it needed to be. He cleared his throat trying to speak louder this time. “I mean I can’t see, anything.”
Bakugo still didn’t know what that meant, so he put a hand in front of Todoroki’s face to confirm his suspicions. Tried doing all he could to make Half n Half flinch or blink or just about anything. But his idiot classmate stood there unmoving, not making any sort of reaction or response to it all.
Or
Todoroki is unsure why he’s going blind, and Bakugo – even though he hates this fucker with all his might – attempts to help this poor extra, as they both go through the days in denial about their newly formed crushes on each other.

Ch9 - Bakugou thinks Shoto is cute and innocent when he smiles as Bakugou draws him. But they end up getting attention, and Bakugou comments how Shoto is useless and will be blind forever so Shoto slaps him and they end up fighting each other. Shoto ends up choking Bakugou and injuring and burning his throat while Bakugou burns Shoto's face but Recovery Girl heals them. They go see Hound Dog who makes them talk and Bakugou admits that he doesn't like Shoto constantly clinging to him and that he's not his babysitter. Hound Dog tells Shoto to sit outside before telling Bakugou that he's being rude and inconsiderate to Shoto's feeling but he will consider Bakugou's feeling of being overwhelmed with Shoto and will ask others to help with Shoto instead. He makes them apologize to each other and Bakugou doesn't sound very genuine but Shoto sounds more genuine and apologizes for hurting Bakugou and for bothering him with his presence.
Ch10 - Hound Dog sets up for his classmate to help Shoto since he can't see and they give him a stick and a class to read braille. Izuku is extra careful with Shoto. Kaminari dances with Shoto and even wears a blindfold to make Shoto feel better as they listen to music. Shoto and Izuku are making bread and Shoto accidentally cuts his finger so Izuku puts it under the water and tells Shoto to stand there while he gets the first aid kid. Shoto panics slightly and calls out for Izuku, and Shoto hears a voice, Bakugou's voice but he doesn't know it, calling Izuku to help Shoto before Izuku is there again. Shoto gets up early and he wants to make toast and tries to find the butter knife but he doesn't want to cut himself again even though he knows which drawer it is. He hears someone come into the room so Shoto grabs that person's shirt, it's Bakugou, but Shoto doesn't know that, and ask if they can get the butter knife for him. Bakugou stands very still at first and Shoto thinks they don't know where the drawer is so he shows them and Shoto wonders if the person who is helping him is Kouda since he's being so quiet and not talking. Bakugou eventually gives Shoto the knife but also guides Shoto's hand to butter his bread even though Shoto says it's fine and he can do it himself, but the person aka Bakugou keeps helping Shoto and Shoto finds it odd and thinks how he's spreading the butter very slowly, probably because Bakugou wants to hold Shoto. Kirishima comes in and says good morning to them and calls their name and that's when Shoto realizes it's Bakugou that's helping him. Bakugou immediately leaves without saying a word.
CH11- Bakugou feels guilty and has dream of Shoto crying because of Bakugou. Bakugou thinks that SHoto is pretty and conventionally attractive. Bakugou thinks how he had helped Shoto when he saw him get cut by the knife and called Midoriya or when he got the butter knife for Shoto. They're taking a test and Shoto has headphones and Bakugou remembers how SHoto was excited to show him that he's going to wear this during exam and he had put it on Bakugou's ears to hear the tutorial even though Bakugou didn't want to listen but he did since SHoto was smiling and said the tutorial isn't over yet. Shoto has a panic attack during the exam and Bakugou takes him out to calm him, and he holds SHoto's hand. Calm now, Shoto takes his hand away from Bakugou and says he can go back inside and says he doesn't want to burden him. Bakugou says he's not a burden and puts Shoto's hand on his face so he can believe him and then he leans in and kisses Shoto and thinks how he misses Shoto.
